  • Carpentry Crew Member

    The Carpentry Crew Member will require skill and experience level greater than a general laborer, but less than a lead carpenter or foreman. Will use drawings and templates, hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.

  • Estimator

    The Estimator works closely with their team, internal teammates, design team, and owners during the Design Phase to develop estimates that guide the design from conceptual to construction documents – Predominantly Design/Build. Assists the Project Managers to develop Scopes of Work, Project Proposals, and Value Engineering Updates. Assists teammates through the Construction Phase with pricing reviews for Change Orders and Bulletins.

  • Internship Opportunities

    Veneklasen Construction is hiring for multiple internship positions: Steel, Carpentry, and Assistant Superintendent.

  • Project Engineer

    The Project Engineer (PE) is responsible for managing and planning various aspects of a project such as reviewing design and bid documents, evaluating trade contractor and supplier proposals, obtaining permits, overseeing construction progress, and document and cost control to ensure the project is completed successfully.

  • Project Superintendent

    The Project Superintendent is responsible to oversee jobsite activities, including but not limited to: organizing, planning and scheduling materials; directing people and work activities; performing site inspections; and, enforcing safety procedures, in the most efficient and timely manner in order to maximize profits for the projects to which he/she is assigned.

  • Project Manager

    The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, directing, budget coordination, safety, and activities associated with construction projects. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

  • Steel Crew Member

    The Steel Crew Member will assist in raising, placing, and uniting iron or steel girders, columns, and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks. This position will primarily erect prefabricated metal buildings but may erect conventional structural steel using drawings and templates, hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
